The controller of the data collected on this site is TechMedias, a simplified joint-stock company under French law, SIRET 940 977 309 00019, with its registered office at 10 rue des Gaudines, 78100 Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France.

What data we collect

Data you provide

When you download a media kit, you provide us with your company name, your first and last name and your work email address. These three items are needed to send you the document requested and to follow up on your request.

When you write to us or book a meeting, we process the information you choose to share on that occasion.

What we do not collect

This site sets no advertising cookies and performs no profiling. We do not collect sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR.

Why we use it

• To send you the requested document — performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
• To answer your request and, where relevant, to contact you about our services — legitimate interest of TechMedias in developing its business with professionals.
• To meet our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations once a commercial relationship begins.

You may object to being contacted at any time, without this affecting delivery of the document you requested.

How long we keep it

Data relating to a media-kit request or an enquiry is kept for three years from our last exchange, the usual period for business-to-business prospecting. After that, it is deleted or anonymised.

Data required to meet a legal obligation is kept for the period set by the applicable rules.

Who has access

Your data is intended solely for the TechMedias teams handling commercial and editorial relations. It is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

It may be processed by technical providers acting on our behalf and on our instructions: website hosting, email delivery, scheduling tool, and Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) for collecting and managing media kit requests. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and use the data solely for the service entrusted to them.

Where it is hosted

The site is hosted by IP Solution, in France. Media kit requests are collected through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, a French company), whose data is hosted within the European Union. Meeting scheduling relies on Calendly, whose servers are located outside the European Union; the corresponding transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for under the GDPR.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and French data protection law, you have the following rights over your data:

• right of access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you;
• right to rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
• right to erasure: request deletion of your data;
• right to restriction of processing and right to data portability;
• right to object, in particular to commercial prospecting, at any time and without justification.

To exercise these rights, write to conseil@itpro.fr. We reply within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Cookies

The main site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies that may be set are those strictly necessary to the services you request, such as the scheduling tool when you open it.

The blog, powered by WordPress, may set technical cookies necessary to its operation.

This policy may change, in particular to reflect new processing activities or regulatory developments. The date of the latest update appears below.
